The Spitfires eased to victory over Tythrington, but spare a thought for the visitors who hit woodwork no less than four times.
The Spitfires eager to get back on the winning track started well and went ahead through Reece Chambers. Tythrington hit back and saw a shot come back of the post. Slimbridge increased the lead before half time through George Mack.
The second half saw the visitors take the game to the Spitfires, but they were hit on the break by Jordan Hodges. Reece Chambers then struck twice to complete his hat trick. There was still time for Harry Prescott to pull off a acrobatic save to preserve his clean sheet.
