Malmesbury 2 Slimbridge Spitfires 2
Slimbridge twice came from a goal down to earn a draw against Malmesbury. The Spitfires fell behind early on when the defence was caught out by some great one touch football. A cross from the right eluded the defence and the striker gave Harry Prescott no chance.
Slimbridge equalised when Jack Matthews raced onto a through ball and finished into the corner. At half-time it was 1-1.
Malmesbury went ahead in the second period when one of their players beat three men down the right before cutting into the box and scoring under Harry Prescott.
However, the Spifires were not to be denied and Jack Matthews scored his second of the game to draw them level.
Both sides had chances to win it, with Kelvin Hiles, George Mack and Ollie Furneaux all hitting the woodwork. At the end a draw was the fair result.
