SPITFIRES SUPERB IN WIN OVER KING’S STANLEY

The Spitfires produced one of their best performances of the season to beat an improved King’s Stanley side by 5-0.

Slimbridge were on top from the start and went ahead with a goal from in form Joe Oliver. They doubled their lead when George Mack played a superb pass to set up Jordan Hodges.

The second half was much the same as the first with Ryan Ponting and Joe Wilcox dominating in defense. Joe Oliver grabbed his second to put the game beyond doubt, before Reece Chambers and Joe Wilcox finished off the scoring.

For the second week running Ollie Furneaux and Joe Oliver were named Men of the Match.
