Spitfires 5 Hardwicke 3
This match gave Hardwicke a chance to put one over their rivals Slimbridge who narrowly beat them to second place in the league.
Spitfires manager Terry Wilcox experimented with all players playing out of position. This worked a treat, as the Spitfires gave one of their best performances of the season.
Hardwicke went ahead early, but Joe Wilcox levelled with a low shot into the corner. Slimbridge then took the lead as good work from Ethan Wait saw George Mack clear on goal and he made no mistake. Hardwicke equalised just before half-time.
The second half saw Hardwicke take the lead again. However, Ryan Ponting playing in midfield scored with a terrific shot. The Spifires were now playing with confidence and Ollie Furneaux's great pass saw George Mack through to score and take the lead. Goalkeeper Harry Prescott played in midfield and he put George Mack in for his hat-trick and to wrap up the victory.
