The Spitfires overcame windy conditions and stubborn opposition to beat Wickwar and remain top of the league.

The first half saw both teams battle against the elements and chances were few and far between and the only goal came via Slimbridge Captain Sam Crosby.

The second half saw Slimbridge up their game and they went further in front when Jordan Hodges scored. Ryan Ponting added a third after his shot was deflected past the keeper. At the back Joe Wilcox was keeping things tight in defence.

Ollie Furneaux completed the scoring for Slimbridge late on to complete a comfortable win. Joe Wilcox and Sam Crosby were named Men of the Match.
