WICKWAR U13'S – 0 SLIMBRIDGE INVADERS U13'S - 3

A good even match was played at Wickwar on Sunday. The Invaders made good use of the wind and went in at half time 2-0 up with goals from Jacob Beeson and Harry Gwilliam.

The second half was much tighter and in fairness Wickwar possibly deserved something from their possession, but found the Invaders keeper, Luke Mcgovern, in good form. Slimbridge sneaked another goal from Josh Pritchard, midway through the second half, which knocked Wickwar out of their stride. 

In the end the Invaders hung on to record their first victory of the season. MOTM Alex Knight.
