Slimbridge Spitfires U9's finished as runners up in the Mid Glos Mini Soccer League South after a dramatic end to the season. The Spitfires drew 2-2 at home to third placed Hardwicke which meant Forest Green Rovers draw at Wotton was enough to secure the league by a point.
